Author Biographies

Dr. Che-Yu Hung is a postdoctoral researcher and adjunct assistant professor of Industrial Engineering and Management at Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT). He earned a bachelor's degree in business from Tamkang University in 1995, a master's degree in management science from Fu Jen University in 1998, and a doctorate in industrial management from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 2023. Dr. Hung specializes in applied statistics, project management, data science, machine learning, and greenhouse gas inventory practices. His research areas include circular economy and sustainable management, missing data processing, statistical process control, and Lean Six Sigma. With many years of industry experience serving foreign companies, Dr. Hung has maintained long-term, high-level interactions with domestic and foreign academic institutions, enterprises, and specific industries.
Professor Chien-Chih Wang is a professor of Industrial Engineering and Management at Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT). He holds a BSc in Applied Mathematics from National Chung Hsing University (1992), an MSc in Statistics from National Cheng Kung University (1994), and a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management from Yuan Ze University (2001). Professor Wang is an expert in integrated data analysis and intelligent decision-making. His research covers process quality optimisation, Lean Six Sigma management, machine vision inspection and medical decision-making systems. He has successfully secured funding from the National Science and Technology Council of Taiwan and a number of industry partners. A prolific researcher, Prof. Wang has published over 80 peer-reviewed articles and completed more than 70 industry-academia collaboration projects. He is also an active member of several associations, including the China Institute of Industrial Engineers (CIIE), the China Society for Quality (CSQ), the Electronic Business Management Society (EBMS), and the Taiwan Reliability Technology Association. Prof. Wang's work is at the cutting edge of theoretical research and practical application, significantly advancing the field of industrial engineering and management. His contributions have a significant impact on both academic and industry practices, solidifying his reputation as a leading expert in his field.
