Prof. Dr. Gennaro Pescitelli received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry from the University of Pisa in 2001. Thereafter, he spent a postdoctoral period at Columbia University. From 2002 to 2006, he was a Research Fellow at the University of Pisa. He was appointed Lecturer in Organic Chemistry at the University of Pisa in 2006, Associate Professor in 2014, and Full Professor in 2023. He is a co-author of >250 publications. He is a member of the Scientific Board of the series of conferences “International Conference on Chiroptical Spectroscopy - CD” and has co-organized the CD2019 edition in Pisa. He has been the Associate Editor of the journal Chirality (Wiley) since 2019.
