Prof. Tongchao Wang obtained his Bachelor’s degree in agronomy and Master’s degree in crop cultivation and tillage from Henan Agricultural University in 1987 and 1990, respectively. Then, he obtained his PhD from the State Key Laboratory of Arid Agricultural Ecology, Lanzhou University in 1998. He served as a lecturer at the College of Agriculture, Henan Agricultural University from 1990 to 1995. Since 1998, he has been working as a professor at Henan Agricultural University. He is also a doctoral supervisor. He is mainly engaged in research of crop drought resistance, water-saving cultivation, and farming theory and technology.
Lei Nie completed his PhD (2013) from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and after that, received three years of postdoctoral training at Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering (CAS, China) and Free University of Berlin (Germany). He began his research as an independent PI at Xinyang Normal University (China) in 2017. He worked as a senior researcher at KU Leuven (Belgium) in 2019 and has been a visiting professor at Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium) since 2022. His main research interests include biopolymers, drug delivery, hydrogels, 3D bioprinting, and tissue engineering.
