Prof. Dr. Shengtao Chen is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, Dalian Maritime University, Dalian, China. He was a Lecturer from 2016 to 2017, a Postdoctoral Fellow at the university from 2013 to 2015, and an Engineer at the China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation 760th Research Institute from 2008 to 2012. He earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Process Machinery at the Dalian University of Technology in 2008. His research areas include ship fluid mechanics, wave theory, two-phase flow, pipeline robots, marine engineering technology, and equipment.
