Dr. Mansour Ali is a professor at Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées Bretagne, Brest, France. He received an M.S. degree in electric engineering in 1992 from Lebanese University; an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in signal, image, and speech processing from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble-INPG in 1993 and 1997, respectively; and his HDR degree in 2006 from the Universite de Bretagne Occidentale. From January 1997 to July 1997, he held a postdoctoral position at the Laboratoire de Traitement d'Images et Reconnaissance de Forme. From August 1997 to September 2001, he was a researcher at the Bio-Mimetic Control Research Center at the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research. From October 2001 to January 2008, he was a teacher–researcher at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Ingénieurs des Etudes et Techniques d'Armement. From February 2008 to August 2010, he was a senior lecturer at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Curtin University of Technology. In January 2009, he held an invited professor position at the Universite du Littoral Cote d'Opale. From September 2010 to June 2012, he was a professor at the University of Tabuk. Since September 2012, he has been a professor at Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées Bretagne. His research interests are in the areas of blind separation of sources, high-order statistics, signal processing, cognitive radio, robotics, and telecommunication.
