Akhtar Hameed received his BSc, MSc, and Ph.D. in Agricultural Plant Pathology from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad in Pakistan in 2014, 2016, and 2020, respectively. He served as a teaching assistant for 1.5 years in the Department of Plant Pathology University of Agriculture Faisalabad and taught different bacteriology courses. He is currently serving as president of the Young Phytodoctors Forum at the Department of Plant Pathology, University of Agriculture Faisalabad. His primary motivation throughout his life is to get higher education and utilize his academic and critical skills in the field of molecular and advanced studies. He has expertise in the laboratory as well as in field studies. He is skilled at the isolation, identification, and characterization of bacterial pathogens, pathogenicity assay, quantitative analysis, HPLC, GC/MS, Histopathology, and field trials. He is also skilled in Molecular biology techniques, such as DNA isolation, Cloning, Gel electrophoresis, PCR, Restriction analysis, Diversity Analysis, 16s rDNA-based phylogenetic analysis, Biosensor based quorum sensing and quorum quenching assays, Genome sequencing and bioinformatics.

Gabrijel Ondrasek received a BSc (2000), MSc (2004) and PhD (2008) in the field of agricultural sciences from the University of Zagreb. He is a full professor with more than 20 years of experience at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb, where he has served as the head of the Department of Soil Amelioration for more than 10 years. Currently, he coordinates international Master’s studies at the university and participates in numerous councils, committees, and boards. With a research focus on sustainable soil and water management in agroecosystems, salinization, and metal contamination processes, Dr. Ondrasek has spent more than 35 months at prestigious research and academic institutions in Australia, Europe, and Latin America.
