Dr. Chun Liu is a Vice President of the Henan Engineering Laboratory of Spatial Information Processing and Henan Industrial Technology Academy of Spatio-Temporal Big Data, Henan University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Software Engineering from the Institute of Mathematics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2012. From 2012 to 2016, he was a Lecturer at the School of Computer and Information Engineering, Henan University, Kaifeng, China. From 2014 to 2015, he was a Visiting Scholar at the School of Computing and Communications, The Open University, Milton Keynes, UK. He is a member of the Chinese Computer Society. His research interests include software engineering and big data, software data mining, robot software, and intelligent calculation based on deep learning.
Dr. Zhigang Han is a Professor at Henan University. He received his Ph.D. from the Departemt of Geography and Environmental Science, Henan University in 2011. He served as Assistant Professor (2005–2008), Lecturer (2008–2012), and Associate Professor (2012–2020) at the College of Geography and Environmental Science, Henan University. From 2018 to 2019, he was a Visiting Scholar at the Toronto Metropolitan University. He serves as the Vice President of the Henan Industrial Technology Academy of Spatiotemporal Big Data (Henan University). He is a member of the Committee on Geographical Big Data of the Chinese Geographical Society and the Deputy Director of the Committee on Cartography and GIS of the Chinese Society of Surveying and Mapping. His primary research interests encompass the theory and methods of spatiotemporal big data and smart applications, geospatial intelligence and urban/social geocomputation, and geographic process modeling and spatial optimization. He has been granted the 15th Henan Provincial Youth Science and Technology Prize. He has published more than 50 academic papers and has been approved for more than 10 research projects as principal investigator.
Jiayao Wang is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a professor at Henan University, and the president of Henan Industrial Technology Academy of Spatio-Temporal Big Data. In 1961, he graduated from the Chinese People's Liberation Army College of Surveying and Mapping. He has presided over and completed more than 20 national and military key scientific research projects, and his research fields include modern cartographic theory, geographic information systems, geographic information network/grid service, digital city and smart city, spatiotemporal big data and its application, etc. In 2001, he was named "National Outstanding Science and Technology Worker", and in 2002 he won the Army Professional Technology Major Contribution Award. He won second prize in the National Science and Technology Progress Awards, first prize in the National and Military Teaching Achievement Awards, 4 first prizes in the Military Science and Technology Progress Award, and first prize in the Henan Natural Science Award (Book Category); he was awarded 1 second-class merit and 3 third-class merits. He mainly engages in teaching and scientific research in cartography and geographic information systems.
