Prof. Dr. Xinjun
Chen is a Professor and Dean of the College of Marine Living Resource Sciences and Management at
Shanghai Ocean University, China. He also serves as the Deputy Director of the National
Engineering Research Center for Oceanic Fisheries and Director of the Key Laboratory of Sustainable Exploitation of Oceanic
Fisheries Resources, Ministry of Education. His research focuses on fishery resources and fisheries, offshore
squid fishing, and fishery resource economics. He serves as the Deputy
Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Journal of Fisheries and
Aquatic Sciences and an Editorial
Board Member of Aquaculture and Fisheries.
Prof. Dr. Bilin Liu is a Professor at the
College of Marine Living Resource Sciences and Management, Shanghai Ocean
University, China, where he earned his PhD in Fisheries Resources in 2012. He visited
Stanford University and the University of Maine as a senior visiting scholar. His research areas are marine
biology, fishery resources biology, trace element ecology, stable isotope
ecology, and fish population ecology and life history based on hard tissue. He is
the Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Sustainable Exploitation of
Oceanic Fisheries Resources, Ministry of Education.
Prof. Xianghong
Kong is an Associate
Professor and Senior Experimenter at the College of Marine Living Resource
Sciences and Management, Shanghai Ocean University, China. She received her bachelor’s degree in
applied physics (1986) and a master’s in physics (2002) from the Henan Normal University. Her main
research interests are physics, microcomputer control and application,
artificial intelligence, and bionics. In 2022, she won the
title of Outstanding Postgraduate Supervisor at Shanghai Ocean University.
