Dr Miracle Israel Nazarious is an inspired and passionate engineer striving towards multidisciplinary research and innovation in technologies for Earth and planetary exploration. Currently, he is a research fellow at the Department of Planetary Sciences, University of Aberdeen. He has a strong engineering background, with a bachelor's in Aeronautical engineering (India, 2013), a dual master's in Space technology and instrumentation (Sweden and France, 2016), and a PhD in Atmospheric Science (Sweden, 2020). During his postdoctoral years, he has focused his research efforts to explore the liquid environments and oceans on Earth and beyond. Apart from his research, he invests time in teaching and outreach activities. He also loves travel, music, food, and adventure sports. Prof. Dr Javier Martin-Torres is a senior researcher at the Instituto Andaluz de Ciencias de la Tierra (CSIC), Spain, and the chair of the School of Geosciences at the University of Aberdeen, UK. He is also the Curator of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, UK. He is a NASA Award-winning theoretical physicist with interdisciplinary research interests, including astrobiology, planetary sciences, radiative transfer, the emergence of life, and space and weather hardware development. He has experience in space mission development through the whole chain: first idea-design-development-modelling-operations. He is the PI of the HABIT instrument to produce liquid water on Mars and CO-I of the Curiosity and ExoMars missions. He boasts an extensive international career, including NASA, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the California Institute of Technology, and the Lunar and Planetary Institute. He loves art and football and is a member of the Royal Philatelical Society of London.
