Prof. Dr. Mariano Sanz is a Professor and the Chair of periodontology at
the University Complutense of Madrid (Spain), and a professor in the
faculty of Odontology at the University of Oslo (Norway). He received
his Doctor of Medicine from the University Complutense of Madrid and
honorary doctorates from the University of San Sebastian in Santiago
(Chile), the University of Gothenburg (Sweden), the University of
Coimbra (Portugal), The University of Buenos Aires, The Medical
University of Warsaw (Poland) and the University of Athens.
