Dr. Filip Idzikowski is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications of Poznan University of Technology. He completed his PhD (Doctor of Engineering) from the Technische Universiät Berlin, Germany. His research activities include energy-efficient fog networks, energy-efficient core networks, sustainable networks, routing aspects in multi-layer networks, traffic modeling, and network protection against failures. He is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers Communications Society (IEEE ComSoc).
Prof. Hanna Bogucka received her Ph.D. in 1995 and doctor habilitation in 2006 at the Poznań University of Technology (PUT) and the title of professor of technical sciences in 2014. In 1988, she joined PUT and is currently with the Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications as a professor. From 2008 to 2016, she was the Vice-Dean for Science at the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications. Currently, she is the Director of the Institute of Radiocommunications. She has been appointed as the IEEE Communications Society Director for EAME Region (Europe, Africa, Middle East) for 2014-2015, elected IEEE Radio Communications Committee Chair for 2015-2016, and elected Member-at-Large IEEE Communications Society Board of Governors for the term of 2023-2025. Prof. Hanna Bogucka was elected the corresponding member of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) in 2016. Since 2020, she has been the Vice-chair of the Electronics and Telecommunication Committee of PAN. Since 2017, she has represented PAN in the Euro-CASE (European Council of Applied Sciences Technologies and Engineering) Engineering Education Platform. Since 2019, she has been a member of the Presidium of the Poznan Branch of PAN. Prof. Hanna Bogucka's scientific interests include mobile radio communications, cellular and wireless networks, radio transmission optimization, and software-defined and cognitive radio.
