Author Biographies

Bo Dong: Associate Professor, School of Architectural Engineering, Chuzhou Vocational and Technical College; senior engineer, mainly engaged in the resource utilization and harmless treatment of wastes such as sludge, tail gas pollution control, and advanced oxidation of wastewater. As the first inventor has authorized 15 invention patents; 2020 Chuzhou City "Youth Post expert"; 2021 school-level "Most beautiful science and technology workers".
Prof. Dr. Shihu Shu holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Water Supply and Drainage from the School of Civil Engineering of Zhejiang University of Technology, a Master’s and Doctor of Engineering degree in Municipal Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, and was a postdoctoral fellow in Civil Engineering at Tongji University. He is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Environment, Donghua University. He is the academic (technical) leader of Shanghai, responsible for more than 10 national and provincial projects, and participated in more than 20 national and provincial projects. He edited six local standards and group standards and participated in the editing of eight industry, local, and group standards. He published one book, edited two books, and participated in the editing of seven books. He has 21 authorized patents and two software copyrights. He has published more than 100 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals. He is a member of the National Technical Committee for Standardization TC453, a standing member of the China Leakage Control Committee of the International Water Association, an executive director of the Municipal Engineering Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society, and an expert member of the Water Industry Branch, a standardization committee member of the China Municipal Engineering Association, and a member of the Science and Technology Committee of China.
Prof. Dr. Dengxin Li is a professor, doctoral supervisor, master’s supervisor, and postdoctoral co-supervisor at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Donghua University. He is mainly engaged in the resource utilization and harmless treatment of wastes such as sludge, tail gas pollution control, and advanced oxidation of wastewater. He has made certain achievements in the research of advanced oxidation of printing and dyeing wastewater, recovery of multiple pollutants in tail gas, catalytic oxidation, VOCS pollution control, residual sludge, and comprehensive utilization of solid wastes rich in precious metals. He is a member of the Solid Waste Branch of the China Environmental Association and the expert group of the China Renewable Resources Innovation Alliance, and the head of the National 863 Project and the National Natural Science Foundation. He has presided over or participated in 1 international project, 24 vertical projects, and 25 horizontal projects. He applied for 50 invention patents and had 30 of them authorized. He has published more than 170 academic papers at home and abroad, including 60 papers indexed by SCI and EI in famous domestic and foreign journals such as Appl. Catal. B, J. Hazard. Mater., and 3 highly cited papers. He has won the first prize of the China Gold Association, the third prize of Shanghai Technological Invention Award, and the Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Award.
