Dr. Magaly Aceves Martins is a Research Fellow at The Rowett Institute, University of Aberdeen, Scotland. She holds an MSc in Clinical Nutrition (2013) from the University of Barcelona and a PhD in Biomedical and Nutrition Sciences (2016) from Universitat Rovira i Virgili. During her career, she has been involved in different childhood and adolescent obesity prevention and lifestyle improvement projects. She has vast experience in assessing nutritional health through quantitative and qualitative research methods and fieldwork experience in clinical nutrition, health promotion, and nutrition interventions.
Dr. Anneli Lofstedt received an MSc in Marine Environmental Protection with distinction from Bangor University in 2017, and a PhD in fisheries management and human nutrition from the University of Aberdeen in 2022. She is a keen advocate for building global healthier food systems. She currently works on the impact that food systems have on environmental sustainability and human health at the University of Oxford.
Prof. Dr. Baukje de Roos is an internationally recognized nutrition scientist with over 25 years of expertise in clinical and dietary intervention trials to assess how diets, foods, and nutrients affect disease risk and resilience to disease development. She received an MSc and a PhD in Human Nutrition and Epidemiology from Wageningen University & Research, The Netherlands, in 1995 and 2000, respectively. She has been a Professor of Nutrition at The Rowett Institute, University of Aberdeen, Scotland, since 2016.
