Dr. Reckson Kamusoko is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Physics Department at the University of Fort Hare. He has a Master's of Science Degree in Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology and a PhD in
Environmental Biotechnology. His main research interest focuses on conversion of biomass into biofuels and other value-added products. He is a specialist in renewable energy technologies including biogas technology, ethanol fermentation, hydrogen fermentation, transesterification, pyrolysis and gasification.
He has published more than twenty-five papers in accredited journals and contributed eight book chapters. He supervises Master's and PhD students.
