Guangjian Wu has been a professor at the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, CAS, Beijing, China since 2010. He was a post-doctoral fellow at the State Key Laboratory of Cryospheric Sciences, Cold and Arid Region Environment and Engineering Research Institute, CAS, Lanzhou, China from 2001 to 2004, and an associate professor at the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, CAS, Beijing, China from 2004 to 2010. He obtained a B. S. in Physical Geography at the Department of Geography, Lanzhou University, China from 1991 to 1995, an M. S. in Physical Geography at the Department of Geography, Lanzhou University, China from 1995 to 1998 and a Ph.D. in Physical Geography at College of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Lanzhou University, China from 1998 to 2001. Research Interests include atmosphreic dust in ice cores, the glacial environment, and glaciochemistry. He has been the scientific editor of the Journal of Mountain Science since 2015.
Bo Cao has been an associate professor at Key Laboratory of West China’s Environmental System (Ministry of Education), College of Earth and Environment Sciences, Lanzhou University, China since 2018. He was a lecturer at Key Laboratory of West China’s Environmental System (Ministry of Education), College of Earth and Environment Sciences, Lanzhou University, China from 2014 to 2018. He obtained a Bachelor's in Geography Information Systems at Lanzhou University in 2008 and a PhD in Quaternary Geology at Lanzhou University in 2013. His research direction includes remote sensing, geography information sciences, and glacier change.
