Author Biographies

Wei Zou earned her bachelor's degree from Shandong University (1990),  master's degree from Wuhan University (1993), and PhD from Wuhan University (1996). She is now a professor at the School of Economics and Management, Wuhan University. She has published more than 100 papers in various journals. Her research topics mainly include: economic development theory, income disparity and economic growth, and poverty measurement and policy evaluation. She is active in providing policy advice and has contributed significantly to China's economic reforms and high-equality development.
Jiaqi Feng received her bachelor's degree in economics from Wuhan University of Technology in 2022, and she is now a third-year student pursuing a master's degree in quantitative economics at the School of Economics and Management, Wuhan University. Her research topics mainly include corporate innovation, policy evaluation, and world economy.
