Dr. Xiuwen Zhai is an Assistant Professor at the School of
Foreign Languages, at Guangxi University. She is also a member of the Asian
Association of English Teachers (Asia Tefl), and a reviewer for RELC (SSCI) and
Sage Open (SSCI). She completed her PhD studies at the Universiti Putra
Malaysia (2023). She has led a project of the Malaysian Ministry of Education entitled
“Research on the Relationship between Positive Psychology and Academic
Achievement of Young People” (No. 5540400). Her courses include Second Language
Acquisition, Qualitative Research Methods, Civil Aviation English, and Tourism
English. Her research interests include second language acquisition, English
for specific purposes, foreign language teaching, and country and regional
studies.
