Author Biographies

Rafael Albuquerque Pinto received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Roraima (UFRR) in 2017 and his M.Sc. degree in Informatics from the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM) in 2022. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Informatics at UFAM. His research focuses on biosignals using machine learning techniques.
Hygo De Oliveira  received his master's degree in Informatics from the Federal University of Amazonas, Brazil (2022). His research involves the application of regression methods on biosignals, such as hypertension detection via PPG and sleep quality measurement, in addition to the generation of regression methods to determine priority in software test cases.
Eduardo Souto received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), Recife, Brazil, in 2007. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Institute of Computing, Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM). He is also the head of the Emerging Technologies and System Security (ETSS) Research Group. His research interests include the areas of applied machine learning, the Internet of Things, and network security.
Rafael Giusti received his B.Sc. degree in Computer Science in 2008 and his Ph.D. degree in Sciences from University of São Paulo (USP), São Carlos, Brazil, 2017. He has been a Professor with the Institute of Computing (IComp), Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM), since 2018. His research topics include time series classification, ensemble methods, and concept drift detection.
Rodrigo Veras  received his B.S. (2005) degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Piauí and his M.Sc. (2007) in Computer Science from the Federal University of Ceará. He obtained his Ph.D. (2014) in Teleinformatics Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará. Currently, he is a Professor at the Federal University of Piauí. His interests include image processing, pattern recognition, and computer vision.
