Tomasz Spietz received his master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Chemistry at the Silesian University of Technology in Poland in 2013. He works as a senior chemical engineer in the Energy Transition Department at the Institute of Energy and Fuel Processing Technology (ITPE) in Poland. In recent years, he has been involved in the realization of various research projects focused on carbon capture technologies using amine solvents. Currently, his research focuses on amine emission from carbon capture plants, gas separation by chemical absorption and pressure swing adsorption (PSA), and thermochemical energy storage. His practical experience includes laboratory and pilot scale studies.
