Prof. Dr. Rijia Ding studied for his doctorate at the Technical University of Berlin in Germany from 1995 to 1998. In 1998, he returned to China and joined the China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) Postdoctoral Station for Management Science and Engineering as a postdoctoral researcher. In 2000, he completed his postdoctoral research and stayed at the university to work. Currently, he has a position as a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Management, China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing). His research interests include management science and engineering, corporate finance, management accounting, technological economics, and enterprise management. He is a member of the Coal Industry Technical Committee and the National Service Standardization Technical Committee, and the chief expert on the national “653 Project” coal mining area circular economy. As the person in charge, he has completed more than 60 scientific research projects including the National 863 Program, the National Natural Science Foundation, the Beijing Natural Science Foundation, the National Education Commission’s Study Abroad Fund, the Postdoctoral Research Fund, the “Tenth Five-Year Plan” scientific and technological breakthrough tasks, the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” and “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” national science and technology support plan tasks, as well as scientific research projects of large enterprises.
