Dr. Yongqian Li is currently a professor at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, North China Electric Power University. He received a B.S. degree in Electronic Instrument and Measurement Technology and an M.S. degree in Communication and Electronic Systems from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1982 and 1988, respectively. In September 2003, he graduated from Gunma University, Japan, with a Ph.D. in Electronic Information Engineering. From November 1991 to November 1992 and from October 1996 to October 1997, he worked as a visiting scholar at Osaka University and Gunma University, Japan. From February 1982 to August 1985, he taught at the Electronic Technology Teaching and Research Section of the Wuhan Institute of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering; from April 1988 to date, he has been teaching at the Communication Teaching and Research Section of North China Electric Power University. His main research directions are information sensing and measurement technology, information transmission network technology, and modern electromagnetic measurement technology.
