Jorge Navarro-Ortiz (jorgenavarro@ugr.es) received an M.Sc.E.E. degree from the University of Malaga, Spain, in 2001, and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Granada, Spain. Then, he worked at Nokia Networks, Optimi/Ericsson, and Siemens. He started working as an Assistant Professor at the University of Granada in 2006. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Signal Theory, Telematics, and Communications, University of Granada. His research interests include wireless technologies such as 5G/6G and LoRaWAN.
