Lav Khot, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biological Systems Engineering at Washington State University (WSU). His research focuses on sensing and automation technologies for site-specific and precision management of production agriculture. Dr. Khot’s work includes integrating crop sensing, Internet-of-Things (IoT)-enabled systems, and precision chemical application technologies. He is also the Director of AgWeatherNet, a network that provides weather data and decision support for agricultural practices. Dr. Khot has been recognized for his contributions to precision agriculture research and has received many awards for his work in this field.
