Subhasis Das is a Research Fellow at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He received his B.Sc in Electronics and M.Sc. in Electronic Science at the University of Calcutta. Before his current role, he was a Senior Researcher at the Department of Electronic Science, University of Calcutta. In 2015, he was recognized with the UGC-NET Junior Research Fellowship.
Dr. Vitali Lipik received his Ph.D. in technical science based on a joint program between the Belarusian State Technological University and University Montpellier 2 in 2003. After that, he worked as a research fellow in the group of Professor Marc Abadie in University Montpellier 2, and as an Assistant Professor at the Belarusian State Technological University. His areas of work include polymer processing, polymer metallization, and polymeric waste recycling. In 2008, he moved to Singapore and started working in the group of Professor Subbu S Venkatraman as a Research Fellow. The subject of the work was the synthesis of biodegradable polymers. He has been working as a consultant for ceEntek Pte Ltd. in the area of carbon nanomaterials. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. He is also an R&D Director of the Sportmaster Group of Companies. His research interests focus on different materials for sports applications. A significant amount of his research concerns textiles for sport apparel and textiles for protection against the cold. Another area of research touches on polymers and polymeric composites which are used for sports equipment production as well as for sports shoes. A special interest is assigned to shaping memory polymers and polymeric foam. A separate area of his research interest is in carbon materials, starting from carbon fiber synthesis up to carbon felt for thermoinsulation.
Dr. Boon Peng Chang received his Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2014. He has held positions as a postdoctoral fellow at the Bioproducts Discovery and Development Centre, University of Guelph, Canada (2017-2020), and as a Research Associate in the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Waterloo, Canada (2020-2021). Currently, he is a Senior Research Fellow at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. His research primarily focuses on the development of polymeric foam for sports applications, the production and characterization of environmentally friendly polymer blends, renewable and sustainable biocomposites, and the thermochemical conversion of agro-wastes into value-added products. To date, he has authored over 60 publications in his field, including 38 peer-reviewed international journal papers, 20 conference presentations/proceedings, 3 book chapters, and 2 patents.
