Dr. Jennifer Rebecca Weyman is an Assistant Professor and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst—Doctoral. She started working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disabilities while earning her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida. She received her Master’s degree in Human Service Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, while working at Kennedy Krieger Institute and she earned her Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of South Florida. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Special Education and Counseling at California State University, Los Angeles. She is passionate about mentoring students working toward their certification in behavior analysis and using applied behavior analysis to improve the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder and their families. Her research and clinical interests include functional analysis, treatment of severe problem behavior (e.g., aggression, self-injury) and restricted and repetitive behavior, and parent training.
