I am Engineer Cesar Markus Alpaca Chacón. I currently work as a research consultant for the company H&O Ingenieros SA. I am a PhD student at the University of Cádiz in marine sciences and technologies. I have 10 years of work experience as a designer and supervisor in air conditioning systems and 4 years as a research engineer in the preparation of oceanographic and river studies for application to ports. I am currently a consultant in oceanographic and maritime studies at the company H&O Ingenieros SA. I graduated 1st place for the undergraduate degree in my class of Fluid Mechanics Engineering-UNMSM (Peru), 1st place in the upper fifth of my class in the master's degree in Hydraulic Engineering-UNMSM (Peru), and I received a scholarship for the international doctorate at the University of Cádiz (Spain).
Dr. Antonio Contreras-De-Villar is a Professor at the
Ingeniería Industrial e Ingeniería Civil. He completed his PhD studies
at the Universidad de Cádiz, Cadiz, Spain. Dr. Contreras-De-Villar completed
the Projects led by ‘Bismarck Jigena Antelo’—“A New Methodology for
Determining River Hydraulic Gradient Using Geodetic Techniques and Global
Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), with Extrapolation and Application to
Navigable Waterways in the South American Amazon”. Currently, he is leading the
project by ‘Juan Jose Muñoz Perez, Juan Manuel Vidal Perez’—A study for the
resilience of nautical and naval activities, in the provinces of Cadiz and
Malaga, to the challenge of climate change. His interests include Climate
Change Resilience in Marine & Naval Activities, Hydraulic Characteristics
of Rivers & Waterways, Drone-based Photogrammetry Applications, and Coastal
Protection Strategies under Climate Change.
