Prof. Dr. Xiaorong Luo is a Professor at the Chongqing Institute of Microelectronics Industry Technology, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. She is also the Director of the Faculty Development Center in the Department of Human Resources. She received her MSc in Condensed Matter Physics from Sichuan University (2001) and her PhD in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (2007). From 2009 to 2010, she conducted postdoctoral research at Cambridge University. In 2021, she was selected into the National Talent Program. She won the second place of the Sichuan Provincial Technological Invention Award (2020), the title of Outstanding Expert with Outstanding Contributions in Sichuan Province (2018), the title of Outstanding Science and Technology Worker of the Chinese Institute of Electronics (2017), and the second place of the National Science and Technology Progress Award (2010). Her research interests include power semiconductor devices and integrated circuits.
