Prof. Dr. Yong Tian received a Master’s degree in 2000 and a Ph.D. degree in Transportation Planning and Management in 2009, both from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He is now a Professor at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He has also pursued further studies at Boeing Company, USA, Jeppesen Corporation, USA, and the Nordic Air Traffic Control Academy, Sweden. He worked as a Visiting Scholar at George Mason University from December 2013 to December 2014. His research interests include air traffic management and airspace planning.
