Himanshu Baranwal earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. He is currently pursuing an Integrated Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, under the supervision of Prof. Arya Kumar Bedabrata Chand. His research focuses on fractal analysis and dynamic programming.
