Prof. Ying Zhou is the professor of the School of Architecture at Southeast University located in Nanjing, China. She graduated from the Architectural Department of Southeast University in 1993, where she
gained a master's degree in 1996. She received her doctorate from the University of Tokyo, Japan, in 2004. She was a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Facility Sciences, National Institute of Public Health, Japan, from 2004 to 2006. Her research work has been focused on healthcare architecture
(including hospitals and facilities for the elderly).
