Dr. Chungrong Jia is a professor, in the division of epidemiology, biostatistics, and environmental health. He obtained a PhD in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of Michigan in 2007, an ME in Environmental Engineering from Nankai University, and a BS in Environmental Sciences in 1998. His primary area of research is exposure and risk assessment of organic compounds in the ambient and indoor air. His specific research interests include community air toxics, indoor air quality (IAQ), measurement methods for air pollutants, and environmental health disparities.
Dr. Abu Mohd Naser is currently developing grant proposals to explore the links of socioecological and environmental risk factors with high cardiometabolic disease burdens among Memphians and the Southwest US population. He obtained a PhD in Environmental Health Sciences from Emory University, an M.P.H. in Epidemiology from BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, M.B.B.S. in Medical Sciences fromĀ  Dhaka University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. His research Interests include climate change and health; environmental epidemiology; cardiovascular epidemiology; socioecological determinants of cardiometabolic health outcomes; evaluation of public health interventions; water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) research; and clinical epidemiology.
