Kyosuke Shinohara has been an Associate Professor (tenured) at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology since August 2020. He was a JSPS research fellow (DC1) from April 2005 to September 2007, a JSPS research fellow (PD) from October 2007 to March 2008, a JSPS research fellow (PD) from April 2008 to March 2011, a Specially Appointed Researcher (Osaka University) from April 2011 to August 2012, an Assistant Professor (Osaka University) from September 2012 to July 2015, and an Associate Professor at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology from August 2015 to July 2020. He obtained his Bachelor's degree (Engineering) at the Faculty of Systems Innovation, University of Tokyo, in March 2003, Master's degree (Engineering) at the Department of Quantum Engineering and Systems Sciences, University of Tokyo, in March 2005, and Doctorate degree (Engineering) at the Department of Quantum Engineering and Systems Sciences, University of Tokyo, in September 2007. He won an award from the Dean of the School of Engineering, University of Tokyo, on March 20th 2008.
