Professor Hyun-Kyung Kang has been a faculty member in dental hygiene since 2005 and has been affiliated with Silla University in Busan, South Korea, since 2010. She has served as the head of the graduate school department since 2014. Professor Kang's research primarily focuses on clinical dental hygiene, oral prevention, and the use of advanced analytical equipment. She has conducted significant research on oral prevention using Q-ray technology and is currently exploring the effects of bioelectric toothbrushes. Additionally, she has served as the president of the Korean Society of Oral Health Sciences. In 2023, she was honored with the Academic Award by the Korean Dental Hygienists Association. Professor Kang is currently serving as the Director of External Affairs at Silla University.

Ji-young Lee has been a dedicated dental hygienist for 10 years, beginning her career in 2009 at a dental hospital. She has been actively involved in the Busan branch of the Korean Dental Hygienists Association and the Korean Society of Oral Health Sciences. Since 2019, she has served as a visiting lecturer and visiting professor at Silla University in Busan, South Korea. Young Wook Kim, Ph.D. received his B.S. from Seoul National University, Korea in 2007, M.S. and Ph.D. from University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA, in 2012 and 2014 respectively. His research is focused on biofilm real-time detection and effective treatment system development. He is the first inventor of bioelectric effect integrated device commercialization for oral healthcare. He filed over 160 patents related to the bioelectric technology and published over 40 research articles. He is currently director of PAIST research institute in Korea.
