Andrés Felipe Guarnizo Saavedra was born in Soacha, Colombia in 1993. He obtained his Master's degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering in 2019 from Universidad de Los Andes. In 2015, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad de los Llanos in Villavicencio, Colombia. Since 2021, he has been a professor at Universidad Ean and has held the position of associate professor since 2023. Currently, he serves as the director of the Mechatronics Engineering program. His research has been focused on the industrial automation sector, IoT, and aerospace applications.In 2022, he founded the EanSpace research group, which explores topics related to aerospace applications, with a specific focus on project management. He has led teams that won the CANSAT IEEE AESS innovation challenge in 2021. In the same year, he was invited by "The Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships" from Japan to participate in "The Training Program on Space Engineering Education Methods (ENUS)" in Tokyo, Japan. He also received certification through "The 11th CanSat Leader Training Program (CLTP-11)". In 2022, he was invited to the "The Training Program on Local Chapter Empowerment Program (ENUSE)" in Istanbul, Turkey.
