Author Biographies

Haotian Yang was born in Jiangsu Province, China, in 1993. He received his M.S. degree in Management from University of Nottingham, Nottingham, UK, in 2019. He is working toward a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from Jiangsu University, Zhenjiang, China. His current research interests include blockchain application, IoT, sharding, and agricultural machinery scheduling.
Pujie Jing received a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Jiangsu University in 2019 and an M.S. (dual degree) in computer science from Central China Normal University and the University of Wollongong in 2021. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in computer science and technology with Jiangsu University. His research interests include blockchain security and cryptography.
Zihan Wu received a B.S. degree from the School of Science, Hohai University in 2017, and an M.S. degree in computer science from the School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering, Jiangsu University, in July 2021. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. with the School of Cyber Science and Engineering, Southeast University. His research interests include blockchain redaction and interoperation.
Prof. Lu Liu is an Honorary Professor at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, with expertise in AI, Data Science, Sustainable Systems, and the Internet of Things, focusing on developing trustworthy and sustainable systems based on machine learning for health, Net Zero, and digital manufacturing. He received his Ph.D. from Surrey Space Centre at the University of Surrey. He worked as a Research Fellow at the WRG e-Science Centre at the University of Leeds. He served as Head of School from 2019-2023. He is named in the Stanford University list of World Top 2% Scientists 2023. He is the Principal Investigator for the UKRI AI for Health project SLAIDER (GBP 750K), Principal Investigator for the Leicester Innovation Accelerator (LIA) project (GBP 2.5 Million), and Co-Investigator for the UKRI AI for Net Zero project AI4NetZero (GBP 2.5 Million). He received the Staff Excellence Award in Doctoral Supervision in 2018. He has been the recipient of seven Best Paper Awards from international conferences and was invited to deliver nine keynote speeches at international conferences. He was University Turing Liaison (Academic) for the Turing University Network (The Alan Turing Institute), Co-Director of Leicester Centre for Digital Manufacturing (LCDM), Deputy REF Lead for UoA 11, and Executive Committee Member of Leicester Centre for Artificial Intelligence, Data Analysis, and Modelling (AIDAM).
