Prof. Dr. Yuanqing Bu received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Microbiology from Nanjing Agricultural University and her Ph.D. degree in Soil Science from Nanjing Institute of Soil Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and is currently a researcher at the Nanjing Institute of Environmental Science, Ministry of Ecology and Environment. She is the deputy director of the Center for Ecological Effects and Pollution Control of Chemicals and the director of the Key Laboratory of Environmental Evaluation and Pollution Control of Pesticides of State Environmental Protection. She is also a guiding expert of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in the control and supervision of agricultural surface pollution, and vice president of the Toxicology Society of Jiangsu Province. Her research interests include mechanisms and testing methods of pesticide toxicity to organisms, migration characteristics, driving mechanisms and ecological effects of new environmental pollutants (endocrine disruptors), surface pollution and green substitution technologies for the use of toxic and hazardous agricultural inputs, and research on pesticide environmental risk and pollution control technology and standard systems.

Dr. Rong Zhou earned, from the College of Resources and Environment of Lanzhou University, a PhD in 2012. She is now the Associate Researcher of the Chemical Center of Nanjing Institute of Environmental Science, Ministry of Ecology and Environment. She has published over 30 papers in various journals, including over 20 SCI papers, and 2 software copyrights have been obtained. She has been awarded the Second Prize of China Pesticide Industry Association Innovation Contribution Award. Her research interests include environmental toxicology and risk assessment of agrochemicals.
Prof. Jiaqing Wang is an Associate Professor at the Department of Transportation and Civil Engineering, School of Civil Engineering, Nanjing Forestry University. He earned, from Michigan Technological University, USA, an MS (2017) and a PhD (2020). He serves as a Young Expert Member of the ACI-555 Committee of the American Concrete International Association, a reviewer for more than 20 SCI journals, and a guest editor for several SCI journals. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers. His research interests are in the fields of sustainable infrastructure construction materials and solid waste treatment and recycling.
Prof. Dr. Houhu Zhang worked at Nanjing Institute of Environmental Science of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment after graduating from Tongji University in 2008, and is now the director of the Solid Waste Pollution Prevention Technology Research Center, a member of the Academic Committee of the Institute, and the technical head of the forensic laboratory, and has served as a technical expert of the International Threshold Group on Mercury Waste, a professional of the third-party supervision and assessment mechanism for the national enterprises involved in the case, and the vice-chairman of the National Expert Committee on the Identification of Hazardous Wastes. He is the chief expert in the discipline of solid waste management and pollution prevention. He is mainly engaged in the research of solid waste treatment and resource utilization technology, as well as judicial appraisal and assessment of environmental damage.
