Nicolina POP is a professor and distinguished academic affiliated with the Politehnica University of
Timisoara in Romania. She earned her Master’s and Ph.D. degrees at the Physics Faculty of West University Timisoara. She also completed her postdoctoral work at the Physics Faculty of West University Timisoara. She is a management committee (MC) member for five COST actions. She was President of the Energetic and Technical Section of the Romanian Society of Physics from 2013 to 2017. She is currently President of the Atomic and Molecular Physics Section of the Romanian Society of Physics. She is also a member of the European Physical Society, the American Physics Society and the International Confederation for Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry.
