Kwang Jin Kim is the Senior Researcher at the Urban Agriculture Research Division, National Institute of Horticultural and Herbal Science, Rural Development Administration, Republic of Korea. He completed his BS (1993) and MS degrees (1997) in Environmental Horticulture at University of Seoul, and his PhD degree in Horticulture at the Seoul National University. His expertise and research interests include the phytoremediation of indoor air, biofiltration systems, plant–human communication, IoT in indoor plant cultivation, the physiology of flower bulbs, and the breeding of carnation.
