Dr. Andrew D. Peacock is a Research Fellow in the School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure, and Society at Heriot-Watt University. He received his B.Sc. in Applied Chemistry from Edinburgh Napier
University in 1988, his M.Sc. Energy and the Environment from the University of Strathclyde in 2001, and his Ph.D. in Engineering and Physical Sciences from Heriot-Watt University in 2009. Dr. Peacock contributes to and leads multi-disciplinary research teams involving building physicists, social scientists, computer scientists, and economists that have carried out R&D projects for a range of clients that include the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, DECC, Mitsubishi, and the Energy Saving Trust. His research interests include renewable energy generation, energy management, and energy efficiency in buildings.
