Prof. Xiaodong Shen is currently an Associate Professor in Power Systems at the College of Electric Engineering, Sichuan University, Chengdu, China. He received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in electrical engineering and automation from Sichuan University, Chengdu, China, in 1998, 2003, and 2012, respectively. His research interests mainly include new energy forecasting and smart distribution network planning and operations, etc.
Prof. Youbo Liu is currently an Associate Professor of Power Systems at the College of Electric Engineering, Sichuan University, Chengdu, China. He received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in electrical engineering and automation from Sichuan University, Chengdu, China, in 2005, 2008, and 2011, respectively. His main research interests include machine learning in smart grid and energy-storage system applications.
Prof. Junyong Liu received his B.S. degree and his M.S. degree in power systems and automation from Chengdu University of Science and Technology, Chengdu, China, and his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Brunel University, Uxbridge, U.K. in 1984, 1989, and 1998, respectively. Since 1998, he has served as a full professor and doctoral advisor at the College of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Sichuan University. He is entitled to the special government allowance granted by the State Council. In June 2004, he was rated as an “outstanding communist” for his remarkable performance in the “communists’ pioneering projects launched since 2002” by the Sichuan University Committee of the Communist Party of China. In June 2006, he was rated as an "outstanding communist” for his contributions to the “2004–2006 party building and advancedness education” campaign launched by
Sichuan University. His scientific research includes Real-time security analysis and control of large-scale complex power grids, theory and application of active distribution networks, and theory and practice of the electricity market.
Prof. Xisheng Tang is currently an Associate Professor at the Institute of Electrical Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Electrical
Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2006. He is a senior member of IEEE and the Secretary General of the IEEE PES Energy Storage and Stationary Battery Satellite Committee- China. He mainly engaged in the R&D of renewable energy-based power systems, advanced energy storage system technologies, and micro-grid technologies. His research interests are distributed power system stability and control, distributed generation, and energy storage technology.
