Dr. Dimitrios Triantakonstantis is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Sustainable Agriculture / University of Patras, Greece. He has completed his PhD studies in GIS and Spatial Statistics at the Agricultural University of Athens, Greece, and MSc studies in Environmental Management (Agricultural University of Athens) and GIS with Remote Sensing (University of Greenwich, UK). He has been employed by University of Newcastle, UK and State University of New York, USA as a PostDoc Researcher in GIS and Remote Sensing. He recently led the LIFE GEOCARBON and PRIMA SOILS4MED projects funded by European Commission. He has published about 30 papers in various journals. His teaching disciplines and research interests include Precision Agriculture, GIS, Remote Sensing, and Soil Science.
