Prof. Dr. Yiyi Zhang is a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Vice Dean at the School of Electrical Engineering, Guangxi University. He received his bachelor’s degree from the School of Electrical Engineering at Guangxi University and his doctorate in Electrical Engineering at Chongqing University. He has been a visiting scholar at North Carolina State University, Illinois Institute of Technology, and Southern Methodist University in the United States. He has won the first prize in Guangxi Teaching Achievement, the first prize in Guangxi Technology Invention, the special prize for National Equipment Management and Technology Innovation Achievement, and the gold medal at the Geneva International Invention Exhibition. He was selected as one of the Guangxi Young Scholars (provincial and ministerial level talents) and part of the Thousand Young and Middle-aged Key Teachers Program in Guangxi. His interests include intelligent power equipment, insulation fault diagnosis of electrical equipment, insulation materials, dispatching strategy considering water–carbon–energy coupling relationship, and application of artificial intelligence in power systems.
