Chong Peng is a professor and director of the
Department of Catalytic Chemistry and Engineering, Dalian University of
Technology. He is also an assistant director of the State Key Laboratory of
Fine Chemicals. His main research directions are hydrogenation catalysts
(materials), complete processes, and heterogeneous phase separation. He was the
winner of the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund; he served as the deputy
director of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society; a
member of the Fine Chemicals Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society; and a
member of the Chemical Process Intensification Committee. He is an editorial
board member of the international journals “Green Chemical Engineering”, “Chinese
Journal of Chemical Engineering”, and “Journal of Petrochemical Engineering College”.
He has been selected into the Liaoning Province Hundreds and Thousands Talent
Project—Hundred-Level Talents, the first batch of Liaoning Province’s “Xingliao
Talents”—young top talents, Dalian Youth Science and Technology Star.
