Dr. Marco Frego received his M.S. degree in mathematics and Ph.D. degree in mechatronics from the University of Trento, Trento, Italy, in 2010 and 2014, respectively. He was an Assistant Professor from 2014 to 2015 with the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), Hamburg, Germany, before moving to the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI), where he teaches numerical analysis with the Department of Industrial Engineering (DII), University of Trento. He joined the Faculty of Engineering, Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, in 2020.
His current research interests include optimization and optimal control and clothoid curves for the planning of autonomous and assistive robots.
