Prof. Xing Zhang has been a professor at Peking University since 1999. He was an associate professor at Peking University from September 1996 to August 1999. He was a visiting scholar at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from January 1996 to August 1996. He received his Ph.D. from Shaanxi Microelectronics Research Institute in April 1993. He is the deputy director of the Semiconductor and Integrated Technology Branch of the Chinese Institute of Electronics and the director of the Microcomputer Professional Committee of the Chinese Computer Society. His research interests include new structure devices, nano-scale MOS devices, CMOS integrated circuit design and processing technology, and embedded system design.
