Flávio Manoel Coelho Borges Cardoso received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the Federal University of Bahia (1992), his full degree with qualification in administration from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (1997), his bachelor of laws from UniEvangélica (2022), his specialist degree in controlling and finance from PUC-GO, his master's degree in administration from PUC Minas (2005), and his PhD in administration from the University of Brasília (UNB) and Universidad Jaume I (UJI) in Spain (2016). He has been a visiting professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra since 2023 and is a full professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology, Goiano. He is a permanent professor accredited with the Master's Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT) at IF Goiano Campus Ceres and the Master's Program in Administration at IF Goiano Campus Rio Verde. He has experience in the area of administration and education, working mainly on the following topics: entrepreneurship, local productive arrangements or clusters, spin-offs, law and justice, and professional and technological education.
M.Teresa Martínez-Fernández has a PhD in Business Administration at the Universitat Jaume I and is a Full Professor in the Department of Business Administration & Marketing. She is a coordinator of the AERT (Strategic Alliances, Networks and Territory). Her research is focused on interorganizational relationships in ceramic industries and, more particularly, on industrial districts. Her Research Keywords include: social capital, cluster, industrial district, innovation, creativity. She is the author of over 39 papers in the field of strategy (Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, Environment & Planning A, European Planning Studies, Research Policy, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development, Strategic Management Journal, Papers in Regional Science, Long Range Planning, Technology Analysis & Strategic Management, etc.), and she has over 80 participations in congresses of her speciality, as well as several book chapters. She has also participated in 30 research projects and agreements/contracts of collaboration. Finally, she has extensive teaching experience at the undergraduate, graduate, and PhD levels, as well as tutoring and coordination of international internships, of both students and graduates.
Marcos de Moraes Sousa has a PhD in administration from the University of Brasília (UnB) and is a permanent professor at the Graduate Program in Administration of the Federal University of Goiás (PPGADM, UFG). He is also a full professor at the Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education of the Federal Institute of Goiás (ProfEPT-IF Goiano). Professor Sousa’s research topics are justice administration, public administration, student retention and dropout, and public sector innovation.
Valmir Emil Hoffmann completed his PhD in Business Administration at the University of Zaragoza in 2002. He is a Full Professor in the Accounting Department at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), where he has worked on the Postgraduate Program in Accounting at UFSC and the Professional Program in Management Control; and the Postgraduate Program in Administration (PPGA) at UnB. He served as coordinator of the MPA (UnB) - 2011-2015; and coordinated the PPGA (UnB) - 2016-2018. He has published several articles in journals and presented several papers in Brazil and abroad. He has also contributed chapters to books in Brazil and published books in Brazil and Spain. He has completed 27 master's degree supervisions and 7 doctoral theses. He has produced several technical works, including consultancies and courses in specialization courses. His line of research has focused on competitiveness and strategy, notably on topics related to interorganizational relationships, such as networks, territorial agglomerations (clusters) and performance, in manufacturing and service companies (tourism).
