Prof. Jian Chen is currently a Professor at the Department of Geological Engineering, China University of Geosciences Beijing, China. He received a B.S. in Geological Engineering from Kunming University of Science and Technology in 1998 and an M.S. in Tectonic Geology from Nanjing University in 2001. Prof. Jian Chen obtained his Ph.D. in Geological Engineering from the Institute of Geology & Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005. His research interests include Geological Hazards, landslides, engineering geology, risk assessment and soil restorement.
