Delky Meza-Valderrama, MD, PhD, stands at the forefront of academic leadership as the Head of the Department of Teaching and Research at the National Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (INMFRE). She has a PhD from Pompeu Fabra University-Barcelona in 2022. Recently inducted into the National System of Researchers (SNI) of Panama, her scholarly contributions are extensive, including numerous publications in esteemed peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Meza-Valderrama also plays pivotal roles in various scientific societies and research initiatives, currently overseeing the Medical Residency Program at INMFRE, specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Her research dynamically explores the realms of sarcopenia, aging, physical exercise, muscle health, body composition, MSK ultrasound, and gait analysis.
