Dr. Dae-Young Kim is a professor of Hospitality Management (HM) and coordinates its graduate program. He joined HM at the University of Missouri in August 2006 after he received his Ph.D, (2006) and Master’s degree (2002) in the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Purdue University. He was the recipient of the Rotarian Ambassadorial Scholarship Year 2000. He was also a Best Paper Award winner in the annual International CHRIE conference in 2005, Asia Pacific CHRIE 2017, and the 11th TOSOK International Tourism Conference. He has published more than 150 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings. He is also a board member of the Asia Pacific Tourism Association (APTA) as a membership secretary.
