Frédéric Marty received an ESTE degree in microelectronics
from ESIEE-Paris and MS degree in electronics from ISEN, Lille, France. He
worked for 6 years at various companies involved in MEMS development and
manufacturing. Since 1998, he has been working at ESIEE-Paris, where he is
engaged in microsystems developments and in charge of various industrial
projects, from design to fabrication in cleanroom conditions. His current
research interests include development of new prototypes of fluidic and
pressure MEMS.
Tarik Bourouina received his PhD from Université ParisXII
Creteil in 1991 and the Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches degree from Université
Paris-Sud-Orsay in 2000. He started research at ESIEE in 1988, in the field of
silicon-based acoustic microsensors and microgyroscopes. In 1995, he joined IEF
lab in Université Paris-Sud-Orsay. From 1998 to 2001, he was an invited
scientist at the University of Tokyo, Japan. Currently, he is a professor at
ESIEE. His research interests include microsensors, microanalysis systems, and
optical MEMS.
Noha A. A. Gaber received her B.S. degree, in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2007 from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, and M.S. degree from the same University in 2011, and the Ph.D. from Université Paris-Est, Marne-la-Vallée, France, in 2014.She joined the Center for Nanotechnology in Zewailcity of Science and Technology (ZC), Egypt, in 2015, as a Post-doctoral Fellow while being a visiting researcher in ESIEE Paris, France. Since 2018, she has been an Assistant Professor with the Nanotechnology and Nanoelectronics Engineering Program. She published several publications in renowned journals and international conferences, including high-impact factor journals such as Lab-On-Chip, Optics Express and Sensors. She peer-reviewed many articles for prestigious publishers such as Nature and Optical Society of America as a service for the scientific community. Her research interests include optofluidics, Lab-on-a-chip, MEMS, and miniaturized optical instruments.Dr. Gaber has been awarded several international awards and grants, besides a number of research funds that in total exceed 3.5 Million EGPs to conduct different research projects. The awards include, but not limited to, PhD scholarship from Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée, and best student paper Award in SPIE Photonics West conference 2015. She established the optics MEMS lab and developed the MEMS and micro-sensors research track at ZC.
